Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

California residents have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of their personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

What GB Contractors does with your information

Golden Bay Contractor LLC ("GB Contractors") is a general contracting business. We collect only the information customers give us directly through our contact form, phone calls, and email conversations. We use it to reply to your inquiry, quote your project, and communicate with you about the work we do for you.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for money, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising purposes.

What "sharing" means under California law

Under CPRA, "sharing" includes disclosing personal information to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising, even when no money changes hands. We use the following third-party services that could constitute "sharing" under a strict reading of the law:

  • Google Tag Manager and Google Ads conversion tracking — used only to measure whether ads led to inquiries. We do not build cross-site advertising audiences from your data.
  • Umami self-hosted analytics — page views only, no cross-site tracking, no cookies, no personal identifiers.

How to opt out

You may opt out of the sharing of your personal information at any time by any of the following methods:

  • Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we honor it automatically. You do not need to submit a separate request.
  • Email: info@goldenbaycontractor.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Info". Include the email address you'd like the request applied to.
  • Phone: (415) 377-4712. Tell us you'd like to opt out; we'll take the request over the phone.
  • Mail: Golden Bay Contractor LLC, Attn: Privacy, 1725 Novato Blvd #30, Novato, CA 94947.

We will process your request within 15 business days and confirm when it is complete. No account or ID verification is required, though we may ask questions to confirm the request came from you.

Other California privacy rights

Beyond the right to opt out, California residents also have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you
  • Delete personal information we have collected (subject to certain exceptions)
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the methods above.

Authorized agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will require the agent to provide written proof of your authorization and may contact you to verify.
